Lululemon Mourns the Passing of Creative Director Phil Dickinson

Lululemon is deeply saddened to announce the passing of their creative director, Phil Dickinson.

Dickinson joined the Canadian activewear brand in April 2022, bringing with him a wealth of experience in the sportswear industry.

As the creative director, he was responsible for leading Lululemon’s global creative strategy and roadmap for product design, building upon the work of the brand’s design team.

Dickinson reported to Lululemon’s chief product officer, Sun Choe.

Prior to joining Lululemon, Dickinson held various executive roles in the sporting goods and fashion industries.

In 2007, he served at NikeUmbro, and after nine years, he joined the UK apparel brand Superdry.

Calvin McDonald, CEO of Lululemon, shared his condolences: “We are heartbroken by the loss of our colleague and friend, Phil Dickinson.

He was a visionary and inspiring leader who had a positive impact on his teams and the company.

During this difficult time, we are focused on supporting his family and request that others respect their privacy.”

Lululemon has not yet announced a replacement for Dickinson, as they continue to mourn his loss and honor his contributions to the brand..
