Athleta opens in Soho
Activewear brand Athletaas part of ambitious retail expansion plans.

Similarly to other Athleta locations, customers will also have access to a Soho community space for holistic well-being activities like guided movement and meditation classes, expert panels, small-group forums, styling sessions and more.
In addition to brand-curated events, local well-being professionals are also welcomed to reserve the space at no cost to host free community events.

“Athleta Soho marks our 35th new store opening in North America this year, meeting our goal to add 30-40 new stores to our fleet in 2022. The expansion of our store footprint is an important driver of Athleta’s long-term growth plan, helping us build brand awareness and expand our community of empowered women and girls.”
The new Soho store, which opened in Soho’s Broadway Corridor at 594 Broadway, joins three other locations in Manhattan including in Hudson Yards, at 1517 Third Avenue on the Upper East Side, and at 126 Fifth Avenue
Looking ahead, Athleta plans to open about 30 stores in 2023. Locations for those stores are yet to be revealed.
