A star who’s a fan of the trend: Gigi Hadid, who can’t get enough of one particular item that’s the epitome of “quiet luxury.”
The 27-year-old model was spotted with friends over the weekend in New York City wearing a black tank top, a blue button-up shirt, a blue baseball cap, round-frame sunglasses, and a pair of gray Adidas Samba trainers. But the Loro Piana L19 clutch bag in cream—which is about as “if you know, you know” as it gets—was the main attraction. (The bag, yours for $1,975, also doubles as a vanity case, FYI.) And this isn’t the first time Hadid’s been seen out and about with the sleek little bag.

Prior to that, she has been seen wearing the luxury piece at New York Fashion Week in September of last year, and during the press tour for Netflix’s Next in Fashion more recently.
Despite being a 99-year-old business, the hyper-luxury brand Loro Piana has gained fame in recent years for its impeccably crafted separates produced from the most luxurious fabrics. Kendall Roy, the antihero of Succession, is depicted wearing an array of items with eye-popping price tags—right down to his baseball caps, which cost upwards of $495. Streetwear aficionados are now praising the brand as a source of investment essentials (“IYKYK”). And Gigi Hadid is clearly in agreement.
