Halle shared a pic of her date night ensemble to Instagram, showing off a cropped sweater-knit top with a plethora of bold cutouts, including at her chest and on her arms. It almost looks like she’s wearing arm warmers, but from another angle you can see that the sleeves are still connected to the sweater despite the large swath of fabric missing. Halle paired the cropped sweater top with a pair of high-waisted black pants and a black bag with a silver chain strap before heading out for her date night. The look managed to be both cozy for fall with its high neck and soft knit and perfect for summer with the cropped silhouette and cutouts. Cutouts have been one of the biggest trends of the year, spotted in everything from casual looks like Halle’s to red carpet moments like Sadie Sink’s Venice Film Festival looks or Rosé’s appearance at Tiffany’s exhibition.
