Jessica Biel is really putting the CA in Candy.
The actor, who plays Candy Montgomery in the true crime Hulu miniseries Candy, arrived at a For Your Consideration event in L.A. on Monday, May 9, in the most L.A. version of evening wear. The 40-year-old wore a cropped white Hanes x Karla Welch muscle tank, wide-leg Giambattista Valli trousers with frayed hems, and layered gold Foundrae necklaces.
She kept the beachy vibes alive with loose waves and sun-kissed makeup. Her shoes were unseen beneath the too-long trousers, but I’m choosing to imagine she really committed to the theme and just wore thong sandals. (Her stylist, Mariel Haenn, tagged Stuart Weitzman in her outfit post, but for all we know the brand could be doing beach sandals next!)
The actor was joined on the carpet by her husband, Justin Timberlake, who wore a suit styled with a paisley shirt underneath. The couple, who just celebrated their 10th anniversary last month, are truly giving vow-renewal vibes in their black and white monochromatic looks. Stranger things have happened at red-carpet premieres.
On her Instagram Story, Biel shared a side-by-side image of herself dressed in Candy’s ’80s-tastic curly wig with Timberlake from his ramen hair days.
“We laughed about it because it looked like the early days of those beautiful curls,” Jessica Biel told Entertainment Tonight of the similar styles. “Let’s get serious, he had beautiful curls. And his mom, now actually has like, current, really cool hipster short curly hair. It’s weird, it kind of resembles both of them. At the same time.”
