This just in: Megan Thee Stallion is now…Megan Thee Leopard? Per the hot girl’s 2022 Grammys dress, it might be more likely than you think.
The certified Houston hottie and Glamour wore a safari-inspired one-shoulder gown to the 2022 Grammys in Las Vegas. The dress, designed by Roberto Cavalli, features a high slit and a dual-print pattern, with a tiger motif lining the inside of the garment. The star accessorized the look with dramatic gold jewelry, like sculpted bangles, serpent earrings, and chunky rings. With simple black sandals, truly, Megan’s dress speaks for itself. The singer stole the show at the 2022 Oscars, so naturally, her Grammys ’fit came to eat and left no crumbs.
Megan Thee Stallion was nominated for best rap performance for “Thot Shit,” and had hoped to add another Grammy to her shelf in a back-to-back win (though Baby Keem feat. Kendrick Lamar took the honor). Last year the singer won an award with queen Beyoncé, prompting an emotional speech from Stallion.
“I definitely want to say thank you to Beyoncé. If you know me, you have to know that ever since I was little, I was like, ‘You know what, one day I’m going to grow up and I am going to be, like, the rap Beyoncé’—that was definitely my goal. And I remember I went to the rodeo for the first time and I saw Destiny’s Child perform, and I was like, ‘You know what? Yes, I’m about to go hard,” she said at the 2021 Grammys. “And my mama would always be like, ‘Megan, what would Beyoncé do?’ And I’m always like, ‘You know what, What would Beyoncé do, but let me make it a little ratchet.’ Thank you, Beyoncé, for your encouraging words all the time.”
