Birkenstock launches BirkenFields in NYC
Footwear brand Birkenstock
The initiative consists of a series of interactive public green spaces, set to open on October 11 and 12, designed to explore the brand’s nearly 250-year heritage and expertise in foot health.
Three distinct experiences will be unveiled to the public next week, each offering a different facet of the Birkenstock heritage. The sensory experience is free and open to the public.
They include BirkenField Meadow, situated at Flatiron Plaza, where visitors can discover a shoeless landscape to rediscover the joy of walking as nature intended. After immersing themselves in the natural experience, guests can indulge in a 10-minute foot massage to recover.

Lastly, BirkenField Biergarten, opening at Other Half Brewing in Williamsburg, invites guests to delve into Birkenstock’s rich heritage from its inception in 1774 to the present day. The space will include interactive games and activities, including trivia, tabletop games, and more.
Exclusive BirkenField merchandise will be on sale at all locations, with proceeds going to support local New York causes. A roaming photographer will also capture the moment, with branded photos available for download directly to your camera roll.
