Leather jackets are a tried and tested supermodel staple. Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, and Naomi Campbell wore them religiously throughout the ’90s and aughts, with everything from jeans and T-shirts to dresses. Now Hailey Bieber has made leather a wardrobe mainstay.
Bieber has worn new-season pieces from Saint Laurent and Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini, but, as the model knows, nothing compares with worn-in leather. Cherish the Label—a marketplace that specializes in curated vintage and secondhand—has supplied her with the supple leather jackets she’s been wearing constantly of late.
As well as a chocolate brown blazer, she’s fallen for a slouchy bomber, which she wore with a miniskirt, a crop top, New Balance sneakers, and her favorite oval sunglasses by Balenciaga on October 13.
Worn Vintage, founded and run by Lovisa Källström, is another source of leathers for Hailey Bieber. “There are lots of stunning clothes by small designers that can be just as astonishing as an old Gucci jacket,” Källström previously told British Bieber is inclined to agree.
