Beauty shows 2024: Rosemonth Hair Stylists branch out

Beauticians from Rosemonth Hair Stylists showed off their skills at major contests across the country last year, and they’re not stopping.

The team from the salons in Polegate, Hailsham and Heathfield scooped 11 awards at the British Hair and Beauty Awards and Wella Professionals Trend Vision Awards respectively.

Now, the talented beauticians are aiming even higher this year.

After achieving a top 20 ranking in the British Hair and Beauty Awards ‘Salon Team of the Year’ category, they are hoping to make the final 10 in the competition being held in March at the Park Plaza Hotel London.

A total of 29 members of the team have qualified for this year’s Wella competition, more than ever before, and the team are collectively hoping to qualify for the competition’s grand final at London’s prestigious Roundhouse in June.

Among the successes last year:

* Stylist Frankie Carr won the prestigious Southern Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hair and Beauty Awards.
* Owner Rose Stratton was named runner-up in the Salon Professional of the Year category at the same awards.
* The team were named Wella Professionals Trend Vision Salon Team (South) at the Wella Signature Look competition.
* The salon was also named South East Salon of the Year by Hairdressers Journal International.

The British Hair and Beauty Awards recognise the very best hair and beauty businesses, salons, stylists and technicians in the UK, with winners announced at a glittering ceremony in London on March 5.

The Wella Professionals Trend Vision Awards is an international competition, which gives stylists the chance to showcase their creativity in front of top industry judges and media. The competition is divided into five categories: Avant Garde, Colour, Editorial, Men and Salon Looks.

If you fancy a new look this year, you’ll be in safe hands at Rosemonth Hair Stylists. Good luck to the team for 2024!
