Known for bringing shoppers immersive brand curations and experiential store design, the D.C. location offers a colorful and engaging space, while still keeping the soul of the original design. In line with its newest concept revealed last month in Brooklyn, House of Showfields, the three story space is organized into departments, each representing a room of a house.

It opens with over seventy brands, with more expected to come throughout the curation. On the fashion and accessories side, the offering includes industry-disrupting tights brand Sheertex, luxe French footwear brand Clergerie and emerging apparel brand, Dayra.

In the skincare and bodycare category, customers can shop handcrafted, small batch skincare line East Sound Lane, sustainable and innovative Jeuneora Skincare, as well as essential body hair and care tools from Flamingo.

Highlighted on the ground floor is a curation of black-owned brands such as haircare products and tools from Eden BodyWorks and Richualist, alongside luxurious and functional self-care brands Mary Louise Cosmetics, AbsoluteJOI and Hanahana. Completing the curation is clean beauty brand LipLoveLine and elegant jewelry from MadeByKwest, among others.

“This store is a great example of how we approach the future of retail – we can take a heritage retail space, re-work it, and create an entirely new environment that’s wholly unique but at its core nostalgic for a classic shopping experience,” said Showfields CEO and co-founder, Tal Zvi Nathanel.

“We re-used a lot of the existing infrastructure of the previous store – for us it was important to re-utilize and re-work as much as possible while introducing DC to our signature aesthetic.”

Showfields first launched in 2019 with a store concept in New York, and has since expanded to Brooklyn, Miami and Los Angeles with a pop-up shop.
