US’ VF Foundation grants over $8 mn to 77 community partners worldwide

The VF Foundation’s grantees and highlights include the Full Circle Expedition and Wind River Indian Reservation, where the foundation funded the first Black expedition team to summit Mount Everest, promoting greater access and opportunities for underrepresented communities in the outdoors, according to the foundation’s third impact report titled ‘Seeding Change

The Nature Conservancy received a grant to develop a toolbox of metrics and curricula to reintroduce indigenous and Latinx ranchers to regenerative ranching, while the Trust for Public Land was supported in transforming schoolyards into vibrant recreation spaces that meet community needs and address environmental inequities. Additionally, the VF Foundation’s grant helped Creatives Want Change (CWC) send a new cohort of students to pre-college programmes, building an educational pipeline in fashion design, and cultivating a diverse creative talent pool for the industry.
