On Tuesday, September 20, however, Lopez Affleck showed up on our screens once again looking ready for business.
For an appearance on the Today show to discuss Raising Latina Voices, the JLo Beauty founder wore a three-piece white Fendi suit with a twist: her vest was not a vest at all but a single piece that covered her front only, draped from her shoulders and tapered at the waist to expose her ribs.

The newlywed swept her hair into a high, twisted bun, and kept her makeup classic with a simple smoky eye and a matte mauve lip. She accessorized with Tiffany earrings, a Charles Keith bag in matching white leather, and what appears to be white satin platforms just peeking out beneath the hem of her pants.

Speaking with NBC News’s Morgan Radford at the event to kick off Hispanic Heritage month, Lopez Affleck opened about embracing her culture and her appearance as a proud Latina woman: “This is my body.”
“When I went into these worlds, like Hollywood, where we were not represented at all, I almost felt like a unicorn,” she explained, per . “‘I’m Latina. I’m Jennifer Lopez from the Bronx. And my parents are Puerto Rican, I’m Puerto Rican.’ And I think it made me feel special.”
