On April 20, the Office posted a photo of herself posing in a formfitting lilac David Koma dress with a diamond-shaped hip cutout and up-to-there slit. She captioned the post with three purple heart emoji.
The ribbed-knit material creates a subtle “teatime” vibe, while the single-shoulder moment and sultry hip cutout make it a dress ready for a night out. (It also looks super comfy.) Kaling skipped accessories, and added a pair of embellished pointed-toe shoes.

The 42-year-old’s style has evolved over the years, going from colorful two-piece sets (don’t worry—she still rocks an epic vibrant suit) to sexier looks. She’s recently shown off gowns with deep scoop necklines, see-through corsets, and now the open-hip moment. And people are noticing.

In a post from late March, the actor wore a Dion Lee dress featuring a mesh overlay. “I promise this is my last thirst trap pic from this weekend!” she wrote in the caption. “Now we can go back to videos of me cooking meatloaf or whatever.”
