One Twitter user shared a sneakily snapped pic of Princess Catherine at the Houghton Festival in Norfolk wearing a ’fit that’s giving more Sandy from Grease than it is Mia Thermopolis. “One of the boys snapped kate middleton @ houghton 🤣,” reads the tweet.
For the laid-back hang, Kate paired a black off-the-shoulder going out top with black skinny jeans and her trusty white Veja sneaks. She wore her signature long brown hair loose and tucked behind her ears, revealing a pair of gold chandelier earrings. The princess was photographed, cocktail in hand, having an apparently lively conversation with a small group of gentlemen in a mostly empty pub.
While the look is definitely on the conservative side, it’s still a pretty major departure from what Kate wears on more official occasions. Even when she’s dressed down, the Princess of Wales tends to top a pair of jeans with a colorful blazer or classic knit pullover. She wore a Chanel jacket to a basketball game!
