Lizzo Wore a Barbiecore Bikini and Matching Sunglasses

Lizzo looks so good in hot pink, and her latest summer look is no exception.

The star went full Barbiecore in a new Instagram post to celebrate her song “About Damn Time” hitting number one on the charts. In the pics, Lizzo poses in a bright pink triangle top bikini and a pair of matching oversized shield sunglasses. “#1 SONG IN THE COUNTRY AND I AINT EVEN IN THE COUNTRY ASS B**TCH,” she wrote, leading us to believe she’s on a well-deserved summer vacation somewhere sunny and warm.

Lizzo styled the classic suit with a Chanel logo pearl belt and put a twist on the bikini look by wearing the pink ensemble over a pair of black textured Chanel logo tights. She wore her hair in long braids and rocked a pastel pink frosted manicure. Lizzo also wore the bikini-and-tights look in another post celebrating her mention in Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul (Queens Remix),” where she mentions iconic artists to the beat of Madonna’s song “Vogue.”

The musician is clearly enjoying the Barbiecore vibes as of late. We’ve seen her in a bright pink Valentino look, complete with elbow-length gloves, when she and her boyfriend made their red carpet debut. She’s tried pink hair, matching the vibrant strawberry hue to an airbrush tee and shorts. Lizzo donned a pink leopard Yitty set to promote her shapewear and athleisure line and sported a pink balaclava to announce her album tracklist, and that’s not all! She kept thinking pink in a sparkly bubblegum set with feathered cuffs, a look Barbie would definitely approve of.

We can’t blame Lizzo for loving all things pink this season; the color is having a moment thanks to Valentino’s all-pink Fall/Winter collection, where every look was a vibrant fuschia, and the pandemonium surrounding the forthcoming Barbie. It’s the perfect match for Lizzo’s fun, positive energy and contagious joy.
